Abstract

ABSTRACT. Acute poisoning with acetic acid remains one of the most relevant pathologies in the structure of chemical injury. The article analyzes the use of metabolic drugs based succinic acid in complex intensive therapy at an early stage severe poisoning acetic acid. Proved that the use of these drugs significantly improves outcomes in patients with acetic acid acute poisoning by reducing the intensity of hemolysis of blood, as well as аntihypoxant, antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties of drugs.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The data generalized in the review characterize radionuclide method as a high informative technique in diagnosis of the row of acute diseases and traumas and complications of them. It was shown that each radionuclide technique decides the concrete clinical tests and has a strictly definite place in the diagnostic algorithm. Urgent radionuclide techniques give the important information for the choice of the treatment’s policy or operation’s volume in such acute diseases as tromboembolism, arterial occlusions, small bowel obstruction, acute cholecystitis and cholelithiasis, acute myocardial infarct, rhabdomyolysis, differentiation of acute urological and acute abdominal surgical diseases and so on. The main aim of the work of our radionuclide department is to perfect, modificate of urgent radionuclide techniques and to correct the place of them in urgent conditions’s diagnostic algorithm for increasing of the quality and the rapidity in diagnosis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The problem of ulcer gastro-duodenal bleeding therapy is one of the most essential in urgent surgery. The bleeding is the most serious complication of peptic ulcer desease. It is observed in 15– 20% cases when patients have peptic ulcer diagnosis determined. In general the issues of bleeding therapy in gastroduodenal sphere are surveyed imperfectly. Some patulous endoscopic hemostasis methods don’t fully meet safety and confidence reqirements that preserves high level of general and post-operational lethality in our country and in the rest of the world.

Abstract

AIM OF THE STUDY. The aim of the study was to investigate the incidence, causes, predictors, forms of coronary artery ruptures during endovascular interventions, and to present current approaches to rupture treatment.

MATERIAL AND METHODS. The results of endovascular procedures performed in 2317 patients from January 2010 to March 2013 were reviewed. Coronary artery ruptures occurred in 5 patients (0.22%).

RESULTS. A coronary artery rupture was classified by Ellis criteria as type II in 1 patient and as type III in 4 patients. The vessel wall was perforated with a hydrophilic guidewire in one patient. A rupture occurred during balloon dilatation in 2 patients, and at postdilatation after stent implantation in 2 other patients. The complications were treated using the following techniques: a prolonged balloon inflation, implantation of stent-grafts, embolization. These approaches proved to be effective in 4 of 5 cases, in 1 case a repeated rupture during the stent-graft implantation resulted in a fatal outcome.

CONCLUSIONS. The treatment techniques for coronary artery ruptures may be different and the choice should be based on the cause and the form of rupture. Successful treatment of this complication is feasible.

Abstract

RELEVANCE. Our report is based on the results of investigation of 285 patients with different types of pelvic injury. due to clinic-anatomic variations of pelvic injuries and treatment tactics of victims were divided to three groups according to classification of the Center documentations AO. In the diagnosis of pelvic injuries method of multispiral computered tomography with modeling of volume images in 3d regime was used widely. In patients with combined injuries extra ostheosynthesis of pelvic bones was carried out after liquidation of dominant pathology. Ostheosynthesis of pelvic injuries was conducted using rod apparatus, offered by our clinic with stabilization and reposition of pelvic bone fragments. developed minimally invasive method with minimally traumatization of soft issues allows making ostheosynthesis in acute and early periods of traumatic disease at combined injury.

ABSTRACT. Five cases of mobile thrombus identified in the coronary arteries by coronarography have been described. Controlled coronarography performed after therapy completion demonstrated thrombus resolution.
