SKLIFOSOVSKY RESEARCH INSTITUTE IN THE INITIATION, ESTABLISHING, AND DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL DISASTER MEDICINE
Abstract
ABSTRACT. The creation of such theoretical and practical field of medicine as disaster Medicine in Russia in the late 80-ies was substantially associated with the activities of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medicine. This article focuses on the major efforts of the Sklifosovsky Institute staff in the medical response activities during emergencies.
